What we do know is that the midfielder was excellent for England at Euro 2020, even if just in cameo appearances, and that he seems ready, eager, and capable of competing at the highest level.
Still, that’s a lot of money for a guy who hasn’t scored in the league since January (despite being out for two months due to injury), and at a position where City already possesses Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, and Raheem Sterling.
