The Memphis Blues Legends are coming to Rockdale County on February 17th at 7 pm. They will play a concert for Black History Month celebration and Valentine’s Day weekend. The Red Carpet and Gold Blues Legends Explosion will take place in the auditorium which is located at 903 Main Street, Conyers GA.
We are inviting Rockdale County and Metro Atlanta to show our historic blues legends some love on February 17th since they will be traveling all the way from Memphis and the Mississippi Delta. These Legends are members of The Memphis Kings and also have a historical connection with The BB King museum in Mississippi.
The honorary Red Carpet hosts will be Donald Ferguson and Josie Dean, CEO of the Rockdale County Think Tank. The master of ceremony will be Scrap Iron, Memphis historian and blues manager for over 35 years. The mistress of ceremony is the renowned singer and actress, Janice Barnett Adams, Queen Of Beach Music in America. The event will be documented by Atlanta celebrity photographer, E37, Ralph Williams. The concert will be filmed for the “In Search of the Blues” documentary.
