As day breaks, I realize that I am not the first to have awakened by far. The birds have risen hours before me, along with many other woodland creatures beginning their morning routine with loud and vigorous gusto. The loud morning cries outside my tent are the most peaceful noises I’ve heard in months. I think Ron Swanson from the television show Parks and Rec said it best, “…it’s pointless for a human to paint scenes of nature when they can go outside and stand in it.” As snarky as it sounds, Ron Swanson is speaking a little bit of truth here. You are sitting in your pew today, watching the other mom’s receive recognition for their achievements of “oldest mother” or “newest mother.”Read More

This fundraiser is the one that keeps our doors open so that we can continue to minister to our community. We desire to share the love of Christ to every man, woman, and child who enters our doors.Read More
