In return for their donation, families were served soup made by DMS school nutrition staff, bread and salad donated by local businesses, and desserts made by local churches. They also took home a hand-crafted, woodland-themed ceramic bowl.

The bowls were created by art students and special guests including State Superintendent Richard Woods, Rockdale Emergency Relief’s Michael Franklin, Georgia United Credit Union Conyers Branch Director Robin Chance, Conyers-Rockdale Council for the Arts Exec.
