The plot teases the cross between the monster group and the mighty Morphine Rangers, which can be a recipe for great success. In this horror comedy Matthew Ninaber plays the lead role of Psycho Gorman aka PG, Nita-Jose Hanna, Owen Mayr and Adam Brooks. Director and Writer – Stephen Kostansky. RJLE prepares the cinema release of the film on the 22nd. January 2021 in selected theatres with VOD and digital.
IN YOUTH: Psycho Gorman and his siblings Mimi and Luke unconsciously resurrect a former alien ruler who was buried on Earth millions of years ago after a failed attempt to destroy the universe. They nicknamed the evil creature Psycho Goreman (or PG for short) and used the magic amulet they found to subject him to their childish whims. Just before the appearance of PG attracts the attention of intergalactic friends and enemies throughout the universe, a gallery of alien villains fighting for the fate of the galaxy gathers in the suburbs of a small town.

Psycho Gorman is a former slave of the Gigak mines and a cruelly exhausted stranger who once ruled the famous galaxy as Archduke of the Nightmares thanks to his possession of the Pearl of Prayer. Finally, defeated by the Crusaders of the Templars, he is buried and rests on earth for thousands of years. Suddenly, freed from a little human girl – who covers him with a magic amulet – he is determined to return the gem and begin his destruction and domination of the universe.
Stephen Kostansky’s childhood influenced the foundations of GHGs: Crazy Gorman. In the late ’80s and early ’90s, he took it all back to create a new story that seemed to appeal to fans of horror comedies around the world. The basic concept of the PG is that I take everything I can remember – what is it like to have your own sample? As a child I was hypnotized by the relationship between John Connor and the T-800 in Terminator 2 and by the fact that this subject suddenly had a cool bad guy for a boyfriend. I imagine hanging out with bad guys like Skeletor, Megatron, Commander Cobra and every other Saturday morning in cartoons. These characters have always interested me more than traditional heroes.

Stephen Kostansky continued, adding that I was also fascinated by the dynamics that can occur between two seemingly opposite characters. PG : Psycho Gorman focuses on two main characters, one a cosmic being of enormous power and evil, the other a child whose delirious innocence gives him the confidence to face such a terrible villain. This relationship describes the relationship between PG and Mimi, and that really is the heart of the film. Despite the fact that the last caravan has a lot of humour, the heart is also clearly visible.
PG : Psycho Gorman mixes cosmic fantasy opera with the banality of the suburbs, which stems from Stephen Kostansky’s love for low-budget genre films from the 80s and 90s. He mentions the films Masters of the Universe and HumanBeast 2 as important influences, with budget cuts forcing filmmakers to place their epic stories in accessible places in the real world. The search for comedy in such contrasts still manifests itself in my attempts to undermine the safe space of the children’s film genre with shocking violence and real consequences.
