Example Clemons vs Notre Dame

The Tigers will be at a disadvantage because quarterback Trevor Lawrence is suspended due to COVID 19 rules, but coach Dabo Swinney has said Lawrence will be there to help his replacement DJ Uiagalelei as much as possible. He’s an incredibly knowledgeable man, and he’s been there to bring a big presence to the DJ, Coach Piggy told ESPN. He’s got a big mind and big eyes, so he’ll be Lawrence’s coach.

Replacement DJ coach Lawrence Whiagalelei certainly did well in his absence last week. Uiagalei scored 30 of 41 passes in 342 yards and two touchdowns and added a reckless score for a good measure. Against the Irish defense, which is in 5th place in the country in terms of the number of points scored in defense and gives a wretched 10.3 points per match, he is probably in better shape. Notre Dame allows a total of 267.2 yards per game (this is the eighth place of the FBS).

In defense, the Tigers take 13th place in the country with 15.6 points per game. This week they are facing an extremely difficult task, because they are facing one of the strongest lines in university football.

As usual, the Battle Irish have a strong front line and defend senior quarterback Ian Book, who has been tough but somewhat inconsistent this season. The book contains seven touchdown passes at 1225 meters and an interception, but he also missed several passing opportunities.

As they have done throughout the season, the Irish will probably depend heavily on the back of Kieren Williams and Chris Tyree. Notre Dame has an average of 232 meters, 5.1 meters per carrier and three touchdowns per ground party. So Clemson’s line of defense and the line support hull will have to hold them, otherwise it could be a long day.

Head Coach Brian Kelly said this week that his team has also spoken out and prepared for another elusive, totally different aspect: the possibility that Clemenson could steal their plates.

We need to do a great job of not tipping off, Kelly told reporters this week. If it’s more like a bracelet or something, we’ll look at all the alternatives… I think you should know that and be aware of it, Kelly said about Clemson stealing signals. That’s definitely what we’re dealing with. We survived and we’re ready.
