Drive-In, Drive-By and Virtual Holiday Activities in Atascadero •

ATASCADERO – Check your calendar to enjoy the festivities of the city of Atasquadero in secure COVID mode. On the fourth. In December Atasquadero center and Atasquadero High School can make a trip and start the holiday season safely with KOVID Security. The city, in collaboration with the Atasquadero Business Center Improvement District and the Atasquadero Unified School District, is preparing for the start of the holiday, so that everyone can enjoy the safety and comfort of his or her car.

The holiday starts on the 4th. December at 5:30pm in the flooded gardens, with an annual countdown to the illumination of the historic Town Hall in Lighting Down Town Drive. This year Light up the Downntown will be a drive-in in the flooded garden. The gate opens at 17.15 so that guests can park and prepare for the wonderful festive music from the AUSD collection of school choirs and orchestras which starts at 17.30. Then, at 6.15 pm, you can enjoy the traditional countdown to the lights of the historic town hall with the mayor and councillors, followed by Santa Claus and Santa Claus’ wife driving through the flooded gardens in a model fire engine and wishing everyone a pleasant holiday. Rumour has it that they lived in flooded gardens from the 4th to the 6th century. In December, from 12 to 18 hours, some of their famous reindeer are photographed.

The shops of Atasquadero in the city centre will be decorated and opened for your shopping and festive dinner. This year, companies will be able to take part in the lighting of the city centre and the shop windows will take part in their first Christmas decoration competition. The winners will be announced on the evening of the 4th. December.

After the illumination of the historic town hall, the Atasquadero High School begins its festive parade of pomp and circumstance, with glitter from the back of the building from 5.30 p.m. to 8 a.m. along the hill of the high school. Each of the school clubs and organisations will set up a permanent fleet. These floats will be filled with lights to illuminate the high school hill so that families can pass by and enjoy them.

In addition to the festive events of this period, the city will present a new map of the festive light path. From the 4th to the 25th.
