mollyfamwatThe CW has released a new trailer for Superman & Lois, an upcoming television series featuring Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsy Tulloch as DC’s best-known super-couple. After months of providing fans with behind-the-scenes and promotional images such as the new Superman costume, we now have a glimpse of the final product. Superman and Lois see Lois and Clark return to Smallville, where they will raise two teenage sons who may or may not end up with paternal skills. At the same time, they have to combine family life with the duties of an independent public personality.
The series has already gathered a pretty impressive cast; Hoechlin and Tulloch are joined by Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane, Emmanuelle Crikey as Lana Lang and Eric Valdez as her husband, Adam Rayner as Morgan Edge, and Wall Parks and Stacy Faber as two villains.

In Superman and Lois, the most famous superhero, the Man of Steel alias Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin), megalomaniac super villains, monsters wreaking havoc in Metropolis and alien invaders determined to destroy the human race after years of battle, Teen Wolf) and comic book journalist Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch, Grimm), they face one of their greatest challenges: managing all the stress, pressure and complexity of parenting in today’s society.
To complicate the already daunting task of raising two boys, Clark and Lois should also consider whether their sons Jonathan (Jordan Elsässer, Little Lights Everywhere) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin, Peanuts) will be able to inherit their father’s Kryptonian superpowers when they are older. Back in Smallville to take over the family business from the Kents, Clark and Lois meet again Lana Lang (Emmanuelle Chriqui, Entourage), a local lender who is also Clark’s first love, and her husband, Fire Chief Kyle Cushing (Eric Valdez, Graceland). Adults are not the only ones to find old friendships in Smallville, when Kent’s sons reunite with Lana and Sarah, Kyle’s rebellious daughter (India Navarrette, Wander Darkly). Of course, there’s never a dull moment in the life of a superhero, especially when Lois’ father, General Samuel Lane (Dylan Walsh, Nip/Tuck), waits for Superman to defeat a villain or save the day.
Meanwhile, the return of Superman and Lois to the idyllic Smallville is awakened by a mysterious stranger (Wole Parks, All-American) who enters their lives. Based on DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Schuster, Superman and Lois was written by Todd Helbing (The Flash) and produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Jeff Jones. The series is produced by Berlanti Productions in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television.
Superman and Lois will premiere in the spring of 2021… .
