The Crown season 5: Jonny Lee Miller spotted on set as John Major

The British actors John Major (Jonny Lee Miller) and Emma Thompson (Elizabeth II) were spotted on the set of the hit Netflix series The Crown today, according to reports.

So much has happened since the last crown season. First, on November 11, 1979, the Queen was crowned. Second, on July 24, 1981, the Queen’s first child, Prince Andrew, was born. And third, on January 22, 1982, the Queen’s second child, Prince Edward, was born. So, where is the Queen’s third royal child?

The fifth season of Netflix’s “The Crown” has already started shooting in London but the production has been shrouded in secrecy.  The cast and crew have managed to keep the plot under wraps, at least until now. Jonny Lee Miller, who plays British Prime Minister John Major, has been spotted on set as he gets ready for his return to the main role.. Dominic West and Jonny Lee Miller, who play Prince Charles and Sir John Major on The Crown, have been seen in character as Prince Charles and Sir John Major.

The two went out on the Herefordshire set of the popular Netflix show to film the fifth season including a ballroom sequence modeled on Balmoral.

As he prepared to play the former Prime Minister, actor Jonny donned a grey wig and glasses.

It’s the 48-year-first old’s appearance in the role since it was revealed earlier this year.

The Crown will resume its portrayal of the royal family in the 1990s in the second season of Netflix’s historical drama The Crown, which is set to premiere in 2022.

From 1990 until 1997, Sir John was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. From 1987 until 1990, he was Chancellor of the Exchequer and Foreign Secretary in Margaret Thatcher’s administration.
