South Korea made its debut at the US Women’s Open in Houston, and this is only their third professional victory.

World number 1 Ko Jingyeon and American Amy Olson separated in the second round with a single shot, with Japanese Shibuno finishing fourth.

The tournament ended on Monday, after Sunday’s rain had ruined the game.

Kim set a record in the biggest final round of the US Women’s Open and became the seventh player to play the rally after five losses and the first after Annika Sorenstam in 1995.

I’m very happy – it was a great victory, she said.

Throughout the round I watched the leaders and knew how many shots I fired in response.

Maybe that’s why I tried to be more aggressive, I tried to attack more pins.

She hit three pigeons on the leading nine to reach the two below, but withdrew on the 10 and 11 when Olson, who started a shot behind Shibuno, took the absolute lead with two shots.

Kim, who wore a face mask during the game, reacted with the birds at 16 and 17 to fight over the head with Olson, who had five holes left to play on that stage.

Another bird before the finish line let Kim take the lead. On the 16th, Olson, whose father-in-law died suddenly on Saturday, flew in and needed two birds to play in the play-offs.

She could only compete on the 17th place, until one of the pigeons saw her card on the 72nd place at the closing ceremony and got the second place next to Ko, who dropped four pigeons and a buggy in three on the 68th.

Shibuno led from the second round on Friday, but fought in conditions that knocked four gods from the top 11 holes to a lower level.

On the 17th there was another scarecrow, but she also made two pigeons on her back nine to score three against 74 and to finish with a point.

A tournament with a million-dollar check. In June the coronavirus pandemic of USD 744,000 (about £ 744,000) was supposed to occur, but it was postponed because of a coronavirus pandemic.

The American Kathleen Papp finished as top amateur and finished third with a ninth place.

England’s Charley Hull, who was in position after the first round, scored 1 point of 72 and finished 10th with 8 points. including his compatriot Bronte Law.

Another English woman, Jody Ewart Shadowoff, crossed the finish line 17 times in a row after the final in the eighties.

Kim’s victory means that the South Korean players have won three of the four women’s teams that will play this year: Mirim Lee won the ANA Inspiration Tournament and Kim Sei Yeon is competing in the PGA Championship.

German athlete Sofia Popova won the Women’s Open and the Evian championship was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
