What is the UGC NET exam?
The UGC NET exam discussed above is the national qualifying exam of the University Grants Commission. The examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency, which is headed by and acts on behalf of the UGC or the University Grants Commission. Eligibility requirements for the UGC NETexam

UGC NET Test plan
The UGC NET exam consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Both assignments consist of MCQs and must be completed within 3 hours. - Candidates with L.L.M. degree may be eligible for exemption from the age limit for three years.
- Candidates who have joined and served in the army will be given an age reduction of 5 years.
- There is no age limit for the post of Assistant Professor in UGC NET examinations.
