Major college football media days kicked off yesterday, and within the next week, we’ll get our first look at the uniforms of each conference. I’m not a fan of the new Nike Pro Combat uniforms, which look great on TV but are a little over the top when you actually see them in person.
The ACC kicks off its 2016 football season next week, and as usual, the conference will have a lot on the line. One of the keys to winning the Atlantic Division will be Duke, which is coming off a loss in the Orange Bowl. The ACC has a couple of interesting subplots as well; 2015 Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston of Florida State will return to the league, as will Louisville’s Lamar Jackson. And, a new head coach will be introduced—that’s Louisville’s Bobby Petrino. The ACC will also offer its first official live telecast of its championship football game in Charlotte when Florida State travels to Clemson on Dec. 2.
The 2021 college football season is fast approaching, which means media days are coming up.
We’ve put together a media day schedule for each school in the Big 12, SEC, ACC, Big Ten and Pac-12 so you can follow quotes, notes and important storylines.
Currently, each school in all Power 5 conferences has its own media day.
